What is smartDOX?

  • A managed print service, provided by Datamax, designed to significantly lower the cost and environmental impact of printing
  • Truly “Managing” a fleet of devices where the more costly printers are identified and replaced by Datamax with more efficient and economical devices
  • With the information provide by smartDOX, customers can choose the level of management they want which can change across the entire length of the contract.
  • The contracts are billed based on usage on printer and MFPs, but can include faxes, label printers, large format devices, and scanners.
  • These contracts can and should be Equipment inclusive for the term of the agreement
  • Devices can be managed and serviced anywhere in the United States
  • Performance metrics are always accessible via OnTrac, our secure customer portal.
  • All calls are placed and tracked from our St Louis based OnCall center
  • Devices are monitored 24 hrs. a day/365 days a year using our OnSite Print Management software

How does smartDOX work?

  • smartDOX manages output device fleets for overall usage, toner consumption, parts usage, and reliability tracking
  • smartServer manages end user habits, utilization, cost, and workflows
  • smartDMS (Document Manament Service) manages documents electronically
