Challenge: Poky Little B/W Printers
- Wanted to replace current 35 ppm b/w device with color enabled device.
- Experienced slow printing on current networked devices and had to outsource any large print runs – sometimes missing deadlines.
- Used Postscript applications (Quark Xpress, PageMaker) and did not get acceptable results from any device.
- Had limited finishing capabilities which caused staff to manually collate or staple print jobs

- Included saddle stitch finisher capabilities to improve employee productivity.
- Color capability added with the new device would work more smoothly with the Postscript application programs in use.

- Savings of $1200 (approx.) annually on outsourced printing costs - Customer now prints sensitive business documents internally, prints marketing materials on-demand, and eliminates missed printed materials deadlines on outsourced jobs.
- Improved corporate image and increased office productivity – with the addition of color printing and the enhanced finishing features, marketing materials produced internally are higher quality in appearance, more cost-effective as they can be printed on-demand and more efficiently produced by the staff – eliminating the need to outsource.
