OnSite Print Manager: Secure and Reliable

The download and installation of OnSite Print Manager Data Collection Agent takes under 5 minutes, and our technical support team will walk you through the initial setup. From then on, the Data Collection Agent will run as a Windows® service in the background, allowing it to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

After each discovery, the collected data will be sent to the Datamax secure web server. This allows us to continuously track your printing environment remotely, without disrupting your day to day business.

The Data Collection Agent uses one-way communication only. No personal or user data is collected. The collected data is sent via Port 443, Port 80, or Port 21 to the web server.

Network Requirements:

  • TCP/IP configured
  • Port 443 (HTTPS), Port 80 (HTTP), or Port 21 (FTP) must be open for automatic transmission of collected data

System Requirements:

  • Hardware: Desktop computer system
  • Operating System: Windows 2000/XP
  • Network Card: 100Mbit or higher
  • RAM: 256MB or higher
  • Internet connected browser with a minimum of 100Mbit NIC
  • System must be powered on all the time
  • Does not have to be a dedicated system
