The Challenge

Our client is a global supplier of custom retail fixtures, POP displays and innovative design.  With their corporate headquarters and 150,000-square-foot-distribution center located in St. Louis, they have created solutions to impact in-store environment since 1949.

When this client approached our Professional Services Consultant, they were facing a move of their headquarters to a new location as well as the need to upgrade a business application - along with necessary hardware.

The Process

Datamax worked with the supplier to implement the following changes:

  • Installed a new SQL server 2005 and worked with application vendors to complete the upgrade
  • Assisted the company in moving the necessary hardware and other related materials to the new location
  • Installed Cisco network infrastructure
  • Discovered a lack of centralized management for logical and physical resources and resolved those issues

The Results

By implementing the Datamax solution:

  • The client settled into their new location with completely upgraded applications and any new hardware that was required.
